Application Process
Four Steps
-
Step One
Interested students must enter a request on the online Action portal (this is what we have) alone with information including personal contact, type of support, educational background, and financial information.
-
Step Two
Capan foundation will send an official application form for applicants to fill in. The applicants are typically required to submit one or more essays detailing their educational goals, career aspirations, and how the scholarship will help them achieve their objectives.
-
Step Three
Letters of Recommendation: Students may be asked to provide one or two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or community leaders who can speak to their character and potential.
-
Step Four
Transcripts: A copy of the applicant’s academic transcripts may be required to verify educational performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarships are available to high school seniors, current college students, and those seeking vocational training, if they are enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited institution
Applicants must demonstrate financial need, typically defined as coming from a low-income household. While we encourage all applicants, a minimum GPA may be required to ensure that students demonstrate academic commitment.
