Our Core Programs

1. Scholarships for Higher Education:

The Capan Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to low-income students pursuing higher education. Below are the general details of the program:

Expense we will fund:

  • Tuition and mandatory fees such as activity fees, technology fees, laboratory fees and other required charges that are essential for enrollment.

  • Textbooks and suppliers

  • Educational technology such as computers and software, online course materials.

  • Transportation expenses, such as public commuting costs, travel for educational purposes (travel costs for internships, conference, etc. that require students to travel.

  • Housing costs: on campus housing and off campus housing expenses.

  • Other educational expense: Tutoring services, Extracurricular activities.

  • Emergency Expenses: Unexpected costs related to education such as medical bills or other unforeseen circumstances that could impact a student’s ability to continue their studies.

2. Grants for Exploration:

We believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Our grants empower young individuals to explore their interests, whether through internships, workshops, or experiential learning opportunities. We encourage curiosit and creativity, helping young minds discover their passions.

Expense we will fund:

  • Funding for enrollment in summer programs, academic workshops, or career preparation courses that enhance skills and learning opportunities.

  • Support for laptops, tablets, or software required for participation in internships, online workshops, or experiential learning programs.

  • Assistance with commuting costs for internships, workshops, or other experiential learning opportunities.

3. Support for Educational Organizations:

In addition to supporting individual students, we also provide limited funding to broad educational organizations that share our commitment to fostering access to quality education. We partner with nonprofits and community programs that work to uplift and educate underrepresented groups, enhancing the educational landscape for all.
